This is a shot from Central Avenue looking east towards 3rd St. My 3-year old son loves numbers and a slow drive along Palm Lane makes his little counting heart race. And it has a trippy vibe when the sun gets low and the shadows dance off to the east.

Wow! Camelback Mountain goes big time
Can it be that Phoenix must be talking to the right people with a prominent local landmark now in Hasbro's Here & Now edition of Monopoly? Kentucky Avenue's traditional location takes a back seat to Camelback Mountain after Phoenix's local establishment mounted a vigorous email campaign to beat out other national cities and landmarks. 
Players on the new board will be set back $2.2 million to purchase Camelback Mountain and with just one hotel the parcel will net out at $10.5 million. Although....seems almost a bargain based on the last listings I reviewed there!
